Coal for Christmas is exactly what I deserve, considering I haven't sent an email to you guys since spring. Hopefully you still remember me and aren't scratching your head, trying to figure out who the heck Tiffany Miller is. Ha!

As a token of apology, I wanted to let you know about a promo I've joined for the rest of December. Click on the image below to find over 40 clean romance stories - all free! (Kind of like an early Christmas present, eh?) My novelette, Secret Santa is included, so if you haven't had a chance to read that one yet, now is your chance!

**Disclaimer: I've not read the books on this promo, but they are to be clean/wholesome romance!

Life & Writing Update

Since it's been a hot minute, I figured I'd give you a brief update on how things are going in my part of the world. We had a really eventful summer that started with my husband having emergency gallbladder removal on our middle daughter's birthday. What a way to start the season! Thankfully we had lots of great things happen, too. We also put in a pool, our oldest daughter had her theatrical debut on the community theatre stage, I attended a writing retreat in the mountains of North Carolina, and the kids had a strong start to the school year. (Funny enough, I ended up having my gallbladder removed in September... something in the water, maybe?)

I've been writing away at my next book, too, though admittedly the progress was slow during the craziness of summer. I'm hoping to finish the first draft by the end of January, polish it up to send to my agent, and send it out to publishers in the spring. I've fallen in love with these characters: a displaced Texan who's a bit of a cinnamon roll, and a divorcee working at a bridal salon who has a penchant for speaking before she thinks. I hope to be able to share them with you someday!

The next few months are usually a slower time of year, but I think 2024 is going to be different. As I mentioned above, my oldest daughter has gotten into theatre and was just cast in Mary Poppins Jr. The acting bug rubbed off on my other two daughters, too, because my middle daughter was in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and both she and the youngest are auditioning for another children's musical at the end of the month. Confused yet? I will be too when I'm trying to keep track of three different rehearsal schedules! 😅

Until then, I'm going to savor these last few weeks of the year. Christmas is my favorite time of the year, and I want to slow down and appreciate the significance of the season. All I have I owe to the Lord, and the greatest gift He's ever given me is the grace of salvation. I pray you and your family have a wonderful Christmas season and that you also feel the closeness of the Lord, even in the midst of busyness and to-do lists. May your Christmas be merry and your new year be blessed!
