The power broker to blame for all of YOUR problems.

Positive Thinking is the realm of charlatans, fortune tellers, and astrologists.

Or so I thought for most of my life.

In my mind, Positive Thinking was the equivalent of someone staring at a garden full of weeds and chanting “There are no weeds, there are no weeds, there are no weeds”. In other words, utterly pointless.

This was nothing more than a straw man - and it failed to capture the real power of positive thinking.

What can Real Positive Thinking do?

Real positive thinking is very different. It’s the type used by the greatest athletes, entrepreneurs, and artists to have ever graced the Earth.

Real Positive Thinking:

  • Guided a young Arnold Schwarzenegger to superstardom.
  • Helped Sam Walton (founder of Walmart) recover from being screwed over and lead to him becoming the wealthiest man in America.
  • Let Alexander Volkanovski go from not training MMA to being one of the greatest fighters to ever grace the UFC.

Real positive thinking has helped countless people out of pits of despair onto the paths to their most important dreams.

What can Real Positive Thinking do for you?

Figuring out and leveraging these methods could be the difference between where you are now and where you claim you want to be.

The first key to understanding real positive thinking can be found through none other than author / entrepreneur Tim Ferriss.

As a teenager, Ferriss read a book that altered the trajectory of his entire life. It revealed to him the most important influence on our success in life.

It wasn’t family. It wasn’t teachers. It wasn’t friends.

It was the voice inside our heads

The book that changed Ferriss’s life was Jim Loehr’s Mental Toughness Training for Sports. There’s one key idea to this book I want you to takeaway:

“The Power Broker in your life is the voice that no one hears. It is the master storyteller, and the stories we tell ourselves are our reality”.

Positive Thinking provides methods to train that voice. It helps you shift your perspective.

Instead of chanting, “there are no weeds”, it helps you see what the garden would like like without weeds, it helps you believe you can tear the weeds out forever, and it lets you enjoy the good parts of the garden in the process.

Interested in thinking more positively?

Positive Thinking can give you an edge - since most people will skip over it because it’s cheesy.

There’s a handful of highly effective strategies (shared by World Class performers) that I’m currently experimenting with to rewire my brain for positive thinking.

If you’re interested in these strategies, reply and let me know. I’ll put together a practical newsletter that summarises everything you need to know on the topic.
