Good morning, everyone, and welcome to Tuesday morning's Market Outlook.
The premarket is very quiet today, with no significant economic data being released. We might see the market remain steady until Nvidia's earnings report on Wednesday.
Yesterday, the Dow slipped back below 40,000 and closed below the previous day's low, indicating that the market might need a breather.
Both gold and crude oil are trading slightly lower in the premarket, which could exert some downward pressure on the Canadian stock market today.
We remain short-term bullish as long as the VIX does not close above 13.60 today.
