Good day everyone.
A quick 4-minute video.
Well, that was exciting news from Merck on Friday.
It certainly turned around and propelled a lot of travel and tourism stocks higher.
Unfortunately, the market saw lower volume and the major indices were not able to retest the previous day's highs.
No matter what chart I'm looking at, I always look for the first close above the previous bars high as the first sign that something positive may be brewing.
We did not see that occur on Friday for the DIA, SPY, QQQ, or the XIU.TO.
In fact, a lot of the major indices actually made a lower low on Friday.
Friday's positive action was nice to see, but maybe not that nice.
