Everyday I was seeing the worst in myself, in the world around me, and especially in my future. Is anyone else feeling me on this?

I finally turned this around and I’ll tell you three little things I did to make it work naturally...

I did not want to be the kind of person who could only see the bad around me all the time. I COULD NOT be that kind of example for my kids.

I was miserable. I felt hopeless. And worst of all, I could see my children starting to repeat this pattern. That broke my heart and woke me up.

It shocked me into the first little thing that brought about fundamental change in the way I think and feel and face my life.

1) Awareness. I had to be aware to know something was wrong and needed to change.

I’d spent a lifetime in that perspective though. Could I even trust that my average-mom-self could make a change?

That led me to making a choice…

2) Choice is so much more powerful than people acknowledge. By making a choice, you take the reins on your own life!

Now I could dictate the path my life would take. The lens I’d view the world, my life, and myself through.

It was only later I found the trust in the final step and see it in my children even to this day!

Having the dedication to continue to look for the good. To find evidence that there’s positive elements in all things at all times. 

3) Dedicating myself to making this perspective shift changed not only my life, but my whole family’s as well!
