The Way Out Is Through

It is natural to try avoiding disaster. To fight against what would tear down all you’ve worked so hard to build. But there are times when that is the best choice. When efforts to circumvent catastrophe, just delay the inevitable. The hard truth is that moving forward may sometimes require ripping apart what was, to make room for what will be.

As hard as it is to face, if our foundations are solid enough they can weather any storm. There’s no way to know if ours will hold until tested. Fighting the storm is futile. Instead, focus on getting through these challenging times. Then we can pick up the pieces and build anew. The way out of this upheaval is to get through it.
