August came round.

How are you truly?

Submission Season began 5 days ago and we have received 10+ submissions. We are more than excited to see what will be cooked up this season especially with the theme being Blank Spaces.

What comes to mind for you?

For us, it is possibilities, a new start, clean slates and mystery. It could also mean silence and unsaid things.

This reminds us of Joel Oyeleke's poem 'I have failed to title this poem' in our Issue 3.2 HAPPY MEMORIES and 'What probably happened' by Michael Goldman in the FRUITS Issue (1.2)

• I Want to Paint With Words by Obinna Chilekezi is scheduled for August 14th, 2025

• Writers News August edition is up. We curate at least 10 new places every month open for poetry, fiction, creative non fiction and art submissions. It is our way of helping other creatives get their works published.

• Stripes Literary Magazine is now open for submissions for Issue 5.2 (Blank Spaces) from August 1st till August 31st, 2025.
