Have you ever received a courteous rejection?

There is an argument in the writing world, on how heartbreaking courteous rejection is.

Some say: just tell me to get lost, don't coat it.

Others say: its alright to be courteous.

We don't don't know if it's the greeting that hurts or, the little glimmer of hope that got snatched away. Oh, we know, we are creatives too! What did you think? That we are immune? (the nerve?!)

Anyway, tell us what you think. Should rejection letters go:

(A) It's not for us, bye or

(B) Dear , we enjoyed your work but sadly will not be publishing it.
