It's Poetry Month + new developments!

It's still poetry month!
Nothing screams poetry month than the curation of Issue 6.1 Places.
The editors and reader have scaled past first and second edits. We encroach the familiar territory of final checks before contributor input. This is where we aim to catch the slipping errors and tighten the whole issue.
The cover for this issue is almost ready too. It features a significant location landmark and we are truly grateful that it was sent to us.
We are aiming for a May 15th publication and hope we can stick to the schedule. Stay with us!
Editor's Pick
A tiny part of me will stay by Bozena Helena Mazur-Nowak
~excerpt~
I will leave a part of myself in my poems,
And will slowly walk through a rainbow bridge
To the Father's house up in the heavenly sky,
And will merge with all those, who wait for me.
STRIPES ARCHIVE
Because We are Stateless by Oletu Oghenenyore.
A dive into the Nigerian political terrain by a poet is scary. It reminds us of witch hunts and lives lost but truth can only find light if it first seeks the open. Oletu writes to speak truth but also to say, I told you so.
NEW DEVELOPMENT
For over two years, we have been searching for a platform that could print our issues on demand and deliver to readers in Nigeria. We have been unlucky. This year, we found it. We have began the process of putting all our issues up.
Now, you can take a peek, create an order account and never miss a paperback from Stripes Literary Magazine here.
Do tell us how the experience goes if you make an order.
If you are outside Nigeria, please visit our Amazon store to order all Stripes Literary Magazine Issues here.
