We sent out all responses to submissions for Blank Spaces. It was humbling to read the different ideas sparked by this theme.

As always, we got more than we asked for and were really sad to let some pieces go.

Still, so many submissions came in that clearly did not follow guidelines. We got fiction submissions too *colour us shocked*

How do we get creatives to follow guidelines? Why do creatives not follow guidelines? How should editors handle submissions that do not follow guidelines?

We would love to see your perspective if you can write back.

• Silence by Tukur Loba Ridwan is ready and set for release on the 25th of September, 2025.

• We have begun to take special requests for features during the month of October. Yes, Stripes Literary Magazine will be 5 in October and we are making it into a mini inbox event. One poem or Artwork or Fiction everyday from any of our Issues and Chapbooks. (Reply this letter with your request)
