Do your kiddos love Play-Doh? For Play-Doh Day, we're sharing a great recipe to make your very own natural, non-toxic play-doh right at home. This recipe is simple, fun and a great cheap alternative to buying it from the store! This great recipe can store for months in air-tight containers Here's what you need: ? 1 cup flour ? 1/2 cup salt ? 1 cup warm water ? 2 teaspoons cream of tarter ? 1 - 2 teaspoons food colouring (use beets for a fun pink colour, cabbage for purple, turmeric for yellow - get creative with it!) Put it all together: ? Mix dry ingredients (flour, salt, and cream of tartar) in a pot ? Add in your food colouring to the warm water and mix ? Heat it all together on low heat. Stir/whisk your dough continuously. ? Once it starts to pull away from the sides and form a ball, it's just about ready! It should start to look like play dough now ?Turn off the stove and let your dough cool. Once cooled, kneed it and then it's ready for play! ?
