Hello all Perc.U.lators!
I am incredibly excited to start the year off with a bang!
First, we begin at 1:30 pm at the Walker Street Gallery, where we will use this exhibition -

as inspiration for our own writing.
Please feel free to saunter in at any time.
Then, between 2:30 and 3 pm, we will move to the glorious Vespertine Gardens. The weather forecast is looking great, but just in case, the Walker Street Theatre Space will be our backup venue.
Our feature this December is Liz Skitch.
One of Melbourne’s most dynamic new poets, Liz Skitch is an award-winning performer, director and theatre-maker with a background in clown, comedy and physical theatre. She is best known as the founder of legendary alternative comedy cabaret, the Moulin Beige and her theatre shows have toured nationally and internationally. Blending spoken word, comedy, and theatre, Skitch’s new performance poetry show, “Down the Back of the Couch”, premiered at the 2025 Melbourne Fringe Festival.
Skitch is looking forward to sharing poems from “Down the Back of the Couch” as well as some new pieces from the heart <3 with the Dandenong community.
Additional information:
Currently, this event is ticketed using ‘Pay as you Feel’ via Stickytickets. This may change in the future.
Perc.U.lations is affiliated with Radio Laria and is committed to highlighting local writers, the voices of women and gender-diverse poets, and other marginalised voices.
Perc.U.lations, is taking place on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation. Sovereignty was never ceded, and we extend our respect to Indigenous elders past, present, and emerging.
See you on the 14th of February! And if not, we'll be delighted to see you another time.
