Hi my poetry people!
The forecast weather on Saturday is giving me serious concerns about holding Perc.U.lations in the gardens, beautiful though they are.
So, until the gardens get an undercover space, we have dreamt up a 'house-poetry-open-mic-and-feature' variation of the latest 'house-concert' craze!
I (anke / Katharina) will meet you, the Perc.U.lations-poetry-peeps, at Kafé on Hemmings. I will be there to run the 'workshop' from 12-1pm. Then at 1pm I will walk you to a secret (but close) location. You are welcome to bring any take away drinks, or food. The 'secret location' (my place) has a kettle and a variety of teas.
We will walk past the car park. Reach out via mobile 0413 909 906 if you are running late:-)
It'll be tight, but cosy. Do wear a mask or let us know if we need to, if that is a concern for you. I want people to feel safe and comfortable.
The secret location space is wheelchair and walker accessible to a point. The downstairs toilet area is quite small, for instance. If you need a shorter walk option, or confirmation that we can accommodate you, please text me. I will try hard to work something out, or give you clarity on whether this venue works for you.
Lastly, the space does belong to a cat. Every effort will be made to keep Dorian the Marquis de Gris out of the space for the duration. Also, we will wipe and vacuum the shared area. That said I strongly recommend antihistamines, if you know it will be problematic.
It'll be like an excursion, but without the grumpy teachers. How cool is that?
The peripatetic Perc.U.lations adventure continues.
Be there, or be prose!
