👋
Last week I told you about my experiment of sleeping on the floor for 7 days.
(If you haven't read about it, check it out here)
TLDR; It's said to improve posture, relieve back aches and make getting out of "bed" easier.
According to very trustworthy sources (uhuhm..YouTube comments) it would take approximately one week to adjust. And then the sleep would be better than before.
After 3 days, I only had more back aches. And even though that was expected, I re-watched the YouTube video and saw that my "mattress" was probably even too thin for experiences floor-sleepers.
So I decided to add my top mattress to the stack, which made it many times better and even closer to the ones real floor-sleepers use (they often use Japanese "futons").
But what was it like after testing for a full week?!
I've measured my sleeping score with my Oura ring on the last night of sleeping on the floor and the first night of sleeping in bed again to see if there are significant differences.
And the results are in...
Important to note: this is only comparing two days and there are loads of factors that can influence sleep quality.
And: on one of the days I was in bed an hour earlier.
BUT
Guess which screenshot belongs to which night...
Let me know by replying to this email. Otherwise I'll tell you later this week 😄
Be great,

PS: What should I test next?
