Mammoths in your back yard

Hi, it's been a while.

How would you like to be this person?

In 1987, orchard workers in East Wenatchee uncovered some of the largest Clovis points, 12,000-year-old prehistoric tools according to scientists.

Also they found beveled rods of carved mammoth bone. Can you imagine hunting a mammoth with Clovis point spears?

At the time of this Clovis discovery, I lived seven miles from their archaeological dig. Glad I didn't live there during that time period with mammoths in my back yard.

Book II "Identity Lost" of The Taken Trilogy takes place mostly in Wenatchee. I'm excited to announce that an audiobook version of "The Captive" is available and soon "Identity Lost" for your pleasure. The narrators delightfully bring these stories to life.
