You may have noticed that we have been adding even more content to Pupil Gateway over the last couple of weeks. I am going to give some further information on this next week but for now I would like to share some final ideas for using the platform with your pupils for revision over the next couple of weeks. These ideas can be used during lessons but can also be adapted for individual work at home.

1.10mins On - 10mins Off

Ask pupils to spend 10mins on Pupil Gateway revising a specific topic. Pupils can watch videos and complete tasks, quizzes and exam questions during this time. Pupils then must spend the next 10 mins creating a spider diagram covering this topic in as much detail as possible.

2.Pair/Group Work

Each pair/group is given a topic and must use Pupil Gateway to create 10 questions covering this unit. Groups can then swap questions and have a go at questions across a range of topics.

3.5 Words

Pupils are given a topic and can spend 5 mins on the platform revising. They are allowed to write down 5 words on a piece of paper whilst they are revising. After the 5 mins are up they must explain this topic to a partner (or the rest of the class!) in detail whilst only using their five words to help them.
