We have had lots of new PE teachers join The PE Classroom community over the past few months, and I hope you have all been enjoying the resources that we send out each week via email. Whether you are new to the platform, or a long-time subscriber, I would like to make you aware of exactly what you can get out of The PE Classroom this academic year.

Free Resources

As many of you know, we send out two emails per week which contain free resources for you to use with your pupils. These include Practical Activities, Cheat Sheets and Starter Resources, so make sure you look out for the free resource in tomorrow's email!

Resource Packages

We offer Resource Packages for GCSE PE (AQA, Edexcel & OCR), A Level PE (AQA & OCR), CNATs (Sport Science & Sport Studies) and BTEC Tech Award in Sport. These Packages include work booklets, teacher answer booklets, exam questions, mark schemes and online slideshow presentations. We are very proud of the fact that the Resource Packages are used by hundreds of schools across the UK and beyond!

Resource Packages

Pupil Gateway

Pupil Gateway is a platform we offer in addition to the Resource Packages. This is an interactive online platform for both teachers and pupils to use, either in class or at home. Courses covered include GCSE PE (AQA, Edexcel & OCR), A Level PE (AQA & OCR) and CNATs (Sport Science & Sport Studies).

Pupils can use the Learning page for each unit to watch short videos and look through slideshow presentations, then test their knowledge with a quiz and self-assessed exam questions.

Teachers can use their Pupil Gateway Dashboard to track pupils' quiz scores and see their self-assessed exam questions. This means setting and checking homework can be done quickly and efficiently while making sure students are making progress throughout the year.

Social Media

As some of you may already know, we have recently started using our Instagram page again for both teachers and pupils. We post videos, Cheat Sheets and quiz questions, which can be great for pupils to get their daily dose of PE content through social media!
