Hi ,
Despite what the weather these past few weeks has otherwise suggested, the summer of 2023 is almost at an end. We hope all PE teachers have enjoyed their well-earned break. For those already back to work this week: good luck. For everyone else with one week left to go: enjoy!
You may have already noticed this email is not from Tom. I'm Natasha and I joined The PE Classroom team this summer! You will be hearing from both Tom and myself throughout the year.
As always, the start of a new academic year comes with the restart of weekly Starter resources. For new email subscribers, we send a Starter resource every Wednesday to provide a topical activity for your students. This week, your students will be able to reflect on some of the iconic sporting moments over the last few months. You can click below to download this resource as a PDF:
Resource Packages:
It may now be the perfect time to take a look at our Resource Packages and access the free topics for each course. Resource Packages are available for GCSE PE, A Level PE, Cambridge Nationals, BTEC Tech Award in Sport and NCFE Health and Fitness (new spec)!.
We have made improvements to the site this summer, including the addition of Online Learning Add-On for some courses and a new and improved learning platform for teachers and pupils to access videos, quizzes and exam questions for every unit of a course. Teachers have the ability to manage their classes and track progress. This tool is available for GCSE PE, A Level PE, Cambridge Nationals and BTEC courses.

Free Discovery Sessions:
In a couple of weeks we will be running some free discovery sessions for teachers of GCSE PE, A Level PE, Cambridge Nationals and BTEC Tech Award in Sport. These sessions will provide information and support for teaching examination PE this year and a free introduction booklet for each course. More details to follow next week!
