Hi ,

Just a quick one to wish all of your pupils the best of luck as they receive their results this morning.

Are your results lower than expected? This is highly expected as the government aim to bring results back in line with pre-academic levels.

Although we are yet to have the data for 2023, you can take a look at the graphs below which show how inflated grades have been for the past few years. (These graphs are for AQA GCSE PE but the trend is the same across all exam boards).

Unfortunately this year's cohort really are the unlucky ones as they have experienced the negative impacts of the pandemic but haven't been afforded any leniency with grades.

However, I do sincerely hope that you and your pupils can be happy with your results this year!
