Are you following advice that’s just echoing itself?

Issue # 01

Hey ,

“If I am walking with two other men… I will pick out the good points of the one…and the bad points of the other…and correct them in myself.”

— Confucius

Sometimes, the biggest barrier to growth isn’t lack of knowledge — it’s circular advice. We get caught in loops, repeating what others say without questioning whether it actually works for us. Like army ants marching in a circle, we can end up blindly following a trail that leads nowhere.

The solution? Be intentional about who you listen to. Not all mentorship is created equal. The best advice comes from people who’ve built what you want to build — not just in theory, but in reality. Seek out those whose results speak louder than their words. The goal isn't more input; it's better filters.

The ONE Question:

What advice have I accepted that no longer serves me — and what standard will I use to choose better guidance from now on?
