From PBS Michigan to your classroom: The story behind our new project

Hey ,

I want to share something with you that I'm incredibly proud of and explain why it matters for what we're building together.

Three years ago, I had a crazy idea: What if we could create a children's show that actually helped kids develop a healthy relationship with rest?

Most people thought I was nuts. "Kids don't want to watch a show about napping," they said. "That's boring."

But I knew something they didn't. I knew that in classrooms across the country, transition to rest time was one of the most challenging parts of the day. I knew that rest impacted social-emotional learning and how badly providers wanted both, and that everyone could benefit from something gentle and calming.

So I created The Nap Time Show.

Here's what happened next:

📺 PBS Michigan picked us up for their Learning Channel—now airing in classrooms across the entire state

📊 We grew to nearly 30,000 YouTube subscribers (mostly early childhood educators like you!)

🏆 TV Kids Daily Magazine recognized us as a leading children's show for authentic diversity & inclusion

🎭 We performed live at the Detroit Public Library and Michigan Science Center

🤝 The LEGO Foundation partnered with us for early literacy (yes, THE LEGO Foundation!)

🔗 Upwards (the #1 childcare directory website) joined as partners for the Childcare Changemakers Retreat

📈 We became a top 5 series on the Black Education Station

But here's the thing that matters most: We didn't just create a show. We created trust.

Shout out to Ms. A from Chicago for sending this in!

Trust from PBS programmers who vetted our content for educational value. Trust from the LEGO Foundation who saw our commitment to child development through literacy. Trust from thousands of educators who invite us into their classrooms every day.

That trust? It's not just about The Nap Time Show anymore.

We're taking everything we learned (about child development, about what educators actually need, about creating content that serves rather than just entertains) and we're applying it to solve your biggest classroom challenge.

The same team that PBS Michigan trusts with their youngest viewers is now focused on the 3:47 PM chaos. The same values that earned recognition from TV Kids Daily Magazine are being poured into something that will actually help you manage those impossible moments.

We're not just another edtech company with a "bright idea."

We're caregivers and educators who became content creators because we lived your reality every day.

And now we're building something specifically for you.

More details coming soon, but I wanted you to know: when we launch, it's going to be backed by the same integrity that got us this far.

Because you deserve solutions built by people who actually understand what you're going through.

Taking care of you,

Sierra
