Sunday Funday and we're feeling feisty.
Imagine you're drafting a football team. You have the first pick and you notice there are two players that somehow were missed in the scouting report.
The first player you notice is Horse McStallion. It's a horse. A big, beefy one. About three years old. Strong. Chestnut. Wild eyed. Probably 1100 pounds soaking wet.
The second player you notice is One Hundred Mallards. Mallards aren't exactly ducks but I'm pretty sure they're just about the same thing. Although your task is drafting one player, somehow this flock of ducks counts as one dude. Maybe it's because of the trench coat. Google says your average mallard weighs two to three pounds.
You are allowed to draft a human instead.
Assumptions
Assume that both players are aware that they came to play football, and they came to win championships.
Assume they are generally able to understand plays and formations. You do not have to worry about the players breaking rules any more than your average player, although I have heard Horse has been penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct several times in college.
Assume both players will play whichever position you assign them, but it's up to you to figure out where their strengths lie.
They do not talk, but they abide by general hygiene guidelines.
Neither player will be injured by standard football play. No one is taking Horse out behind SoFi stadium after breaking a leg.
Horse can be ridden. Ducks can fly. Neither can catch a football but would be willing to learn. Special tools are not allowed to be used during the game.
All other possibilities are subject to your own interpretation of the question.
Follow-up:
What’s your strategy for taking them on?
P.S. You can reply to this message (and all emails). I'd love to read your response to this one.
That's all I got. I'm probably taking the mallards.
Go Raiders.
