ventures + purpose (how to not be boring)

Social media is flooded with trolls.

Guys + gals with clearly nothing better to do than crap on other people and their hustles.

I feel bad for them...

Truly.

Have you ever talked to someone that just sits around all day and never does anything?

They're often boring, negative, and lacking purpose.

"Where there is no purpose there will be a void...

Where there is a void there lies space for dysfunction to invade."

This cycle becomes an emotional trap.

A rollercoaster of emotions that comes with whatever distractions hit the internet on any given day.

Soon it becomes an addiction.

  • Political headlines affect a person's outlook on life.
  • Tanking markets pushes investors to scramble.
  • A bad day equates to a bad life.

So what is your happiness linked to?

When I'm digging around on the interwebs, I'm naturally attracted to accounts that share positive messages that put good energy into the world.

Those voices are national treasures.

And should be supported + encouraged at all costs.

I've learned that the happiest people tend to have a purpose.

Building upon some sort of venture day in and day out that helps them achieve said purpose.

"How can you spot a hustler? They have their own venture currently."

From what I've seen, the infrastructure of their life looks something like this:

  1. Knowledge of God given purpose
  2. Pursuing venture in pursuit of said purpose
  3. Learning from the journey that venture creates

This is the formula I use every day when blogging for The Hungry Beaver.

And it's one I think many more entrepreneurial-minded Americans should pursue in their own lives too.

I wrote this tweet thread to share just that.

What's your purpose?
