why the MOST successful are the quietest?

Happy Monday Beaver gang! I’ve made the decision to write more frequently because I think the conservative movement could use a little kick in the pants and some motivation.

Despite doomer news daily, I’m personally seeing a cultural shift. Albeit our side is much more on the quiet side…

Though this is antidotal, my friends on the right are focusing on building a family and working for themselves (via consulting or business venture). While my liberal friends are doubling down on all the nonsense and noise. Just trying to remain woke enough to avoid the next round of sweeping cancellations.

If you are someone isolated from other conservatives, or too much of a news junkie™, then you could be left stuck in the middle of these two trends.

For example, if you know your lefty friends are crazy, yet you have no right wing role models to look up to, you could be missing out on your full potential. Or just not challenging yourself enough.

Most people know how to space themselves apart from the woke NPC mob. But do they know what the next steps are beyond simply rejecting the status quo?

This is where personal connections come in.

As mentioned above, I have some conservative friends who are absolutely killing it in life. Even though they aren't boasting about it.

Actually, they come off quite shy because they are quiet, reserved, and not looking for any extra attention.

In their own personal protest of the progressivism, these family friends are building a world that is the polar opposite of what the left would say is good.

So what can conservatives do? For starters, we can be intentional about surrounding ourselves around people who are pursuing the same goals.

Those with kids will understand that this is something hard to commit to, because every day is unpredictable in its own way. Though true, it doesn't mean we should avoid community commitments like Church small groups, or Men/Women meet ups that are meant to connect families with one another.

Think about it like the gym. If you're someone who works out solo at the same time and place every week (say Planet Fitness, where most goers are newbies anyways), you could find yourself being one of the biggest people in the gym. So why would you work harder? What's pushing you?

Go to another gym with more veteran gym goers, and you'll quickly realize there are much bigger people out there who are doing things differently to get ahead and create an edge on their physic.

Simply being in the room with others who are ahead of you in your gym goals will push you to be better and challenge you more than had you stuck with what you were comfortable with.

The point is, you don't know what else is out there until you put yourself in a place of uncomfortableness. It's easy to get complacent, so its paramount to continue surrounding yourself with role models who are ahead of you in some way. This could mean life experience, faith, and so on and so fourth.

Conservatives ought to focus on building their community and networks in 2023, because this is how we win + talk about the pressing issues of today that are affecting our kids and the world they are growing up in.

It's not enough to put your head down and simply do your own thing anymore.

That might be a good starting point, but its important to branch beyond that thinking. Because you never know what you could be missing out on!

To close, here is one example by a man named Marc Randolph who defines "success" much better than the rest of society does. These kinds of people are everywhere - they just typically happen to be more quiet than most of the noise flooding social media. In other words, you have to find these kinds of people.
