How to avoid an emergency c-section?

Apr 16, 2023 8:01 am

Dear ,

That decision helped me to always push for vaginal birth.

It worked for me.

I got lucky.

Indeed I got lucky!

I will share the statistics later kapag maayos ko ng ma presenta ang evidenced-based researches on the subject.

Now I’m not saying na mali ang panganganak through cesarean section.

Pero kung may choice ka naman not to have it, pipiliin mo pa rin ba?

Or if you are given the right information so you can make an informed choice, pakikinggan mo ba?

Now these tips I’m going to share are for those who really want to avoid having a c-section birth, especially an emergency one.

Kung ready ka na, tara!

  1. Eat healthy and nutritious foods. Eating a balanced diet will help you avoid getting sick. Sickness can increase pregnancy and birth risks. Food is a very important aspect of staying healthy. If you don’t know what food will keep you healthy, learn the foods that will not. Like sugar, sugar, and sugar. Bakit? Alamin sa next emails ko.
  2. Exercise regularly. Physical movement will increase your stamina and strength.
  3. Be informed. Know your rights. Look for evidence-based care. Katawan mo, karapatan mo. Your body, your rules.
  4. Get support. Kung sa tingin mo kailangan mo ng kakampi at karamay sa iyong birth journey at alam mong hindi mo kakayaning mag-isa, then by all means, get support. Mahina kung mag-isa, mas malakas kung maraming kasama.

Under the human rights law, you are not compelled even under a court order to undergo a cesarean section if you don’t want to.

How you will experience birth is your decision.

Don’t let others take the power from you.

Pero kailangan alam mo ang lahat ng nararapat na impormasyon to make an informed decision.
