VBAC is also called the Vaginal Birth After a Cesarean. It is a method of birth after doing one through cesarean.

Ahhh pwede pala ang ganun?

Ang dami palang “MYTHS” na nakapalibot sa VBAC na kung susuriin mong mabuti, myth at hindi pala totoo kahit sa panahon ngayon. Lalo na sa panahon ngayon.

Let me share with you one of the most common myths surrounding VBAC that we’ll try to bust in today’s email. 

Myth: Once a cesarean, always a cesarean.

Hindi po automatic ito. Maraming conditions ang isinaalang alang para mag desisyon ang isang doctor at ang birthing mother kung ang susunod na panganganak ba ay through cesarean pa din or pwede ng mag VBAC. 

Ayun sa US National Institute of Health, ang VBAC ay considered one of the reasonable and safe choices for mothers who have given prior birth via cesarean.

Ulitin po natin, hindi po totoo na kapag nanganak ka na vis Cesarean, lahat na ng panganganak mo ay puro cesarean.

You can always look for better and safer options. Kailangan mo lang gumawa ng due diligence sa iyong pag-aaral.

Kumonsulta, magtanong, magresearch, mag-aral, maghanda ng sapat at tama. Look for a medical provider that supports VBAC.

Remember: your body, your choice.

So kung anuman ang gusto mong maranasan ng katawan mo, your decision must be respected. Pero nararapat din na maging responsable ka sa desisyon mo. Panindigan mo at paghandaan mo.

The best weapon to fight the fear of birth complications is preparation.
