A fantastic interview with Jeremy Cordon, the CEO of Goldbacks Inc., has recently been released online. I’m definitely planning to watch it again over the weekend. During the interview, Jeremy shared an interesting tidbit: there are currently more merchants registered to accept Goldbacks in the United States than there are locations where you can use a Walmart gift card. Before I truly understood the nuances of Goldback pricing, I believed that all Goldback prices were essentially the same. After all, they are made of 24k gold. However, upon browsing K2’s website, I immediately noticed that the prices for Goldbacks were significantly lower. While the difference may not be substantial when purchasing a single or two Goldbacks, it becomes quite significant when buying 50 or 100+ Goldbacks. In such cases, you can potentially save 5%, 6%, or even 7+%.
