Now, it's time to channel that energy into creating a vision for your career in the coming year.
, imagine waking up a year from now and feeling fulfilled, knowing you've taken intentional steps toward your career goals.
The only reason that will happen is if you set clear goals to make that vision a reality.
Coach, how do I do that?
First, define your priorities. What matters most to you, career-wise?
Second, set SMART goals. Make them Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.
This year, one of my goals was to establish my thought leadership as a career coach.
This goal guided some of my decisions and actions throughout the year, e.g., the Accelerate Your Career Growth webinar series and my soon-to-be-released book for mid-level professionals.
In my experience, our goals are like a compass. They keep us on course even when the path is unclear.
So, I'd say create a vision board for 2024. Collect images that represent your goals and paste them where you can see them daily.
Spend a few minutes each morning visualizing yourself succeeding with each goal.

Well, visualization is a powerful tool that aligns your subconscious with your ambitions, making success feel more attainable.
This simple exercise will give you a clear direction for the new year.
