Our first ever RISE x TBM Intro Course Cohort is actually two cohorts

Mar 10, 2025 5:14 pm

This past weekend I reached out to let you know we are officially launching our first ever RISE x TBM Intro Training Cohort. That was only half true; we are launching two to give some flexibility of options for when the live class meets each week. We now have a Tuesday 1 pm EST Cohort (currently 15 of 16 spots open) and Tuesday 6 pm Eastern Cohort (currently 9 of 16 spots open), both starting March 17th, with the first class meeting March 25th.

The other thing I want to be clear about is that these are our Pilot Cohorts. So what does that mean? In short, since these are our first two trainings with FSU's RISE program we're offering them at a reduced cost from what they will be as we work with you to get feedback and as we develop an FSU-backed certification process around the training.

What matters to me is providing you with the most value I can from this course. We want to transform your life with this course. The better job we do at that, the more likely we’re going to make a dent in the world together. Let’s create a world full of connection together!

In this email, I want to give you some more details about the who, what, when, and how.

We're going to teach you how to create connection in your life, even in times of conflict.

Who is this course for?

The short answer to me is pretty much everyone :) But I’ll be more specific.

  • Anyone who wants to: Be a better communicator. Be a better parent. Be more present for their loved ones. Learn how to create connection from conflict. Learn resilient skills. Learn NVC.
  • Advocacy Workers and Restorative Justice Practitioners: Are you working on an initiative that deals with instances of trauma? Are you looking to bring Nonviolent Communication into your community?
  • School Administrators and Business Executives: Are you looking to decrease days of instruction and production loss? Do you want to supercharge your team and have a more connected, lighter workplace culture?
  • Aspiring Teachers, Trainers, and Coaches: Do you want to make a career out of teaching empathetic communication? Are you looking for a career with a greater sense of fulfillment and impact? Graduates of this course can go on to become certified Bigbie Method trainers.

What is the course like?

Each week you will have lessons that you take at your own pace in our online academy before we meet as a group. Then each week you’ll meet as a group with your Facilitator for a live 75-minute session where you will discuss and practice your newly learned skills.

When does the course start?

The course itself will start - you’ll get access to week 1’s content - March 17th and the first live Zoom session is Tuesday, March 25th at 1 pm or 6pm EST - and will continue to be weekly at this time for 8 weeks based on which cohort you sign up for.

How do I sign up?

All you have to do is:

  1. Go here to sign up for the Tuesday 1pm EST Cohort - 15 spots left
  2. Or here to sign up for the Tuesday 6pm EST Cohort - 7 spots left

We're excited to go on this journey with you,

Warmly,

Cindy

P.S. If you know someone or a group of people that could be interested in the course please feel free to share it! Thank you all so much for your support over the years and this past week.
