❤️ Intro Course Launching Wednesday

Are you looking to improve your communication, deepen your connection with others, build stronger relationships, and possibly start a new career?

When I started working in NVC 10+ years ago I could never envision myself getting to where I am today in my journey. I say it almost every day, but it’s like there is some sort of divine intervention that keeps connecting the dots to move me forward on this initiative and I’m so grateful for it.

And today is just another step in that direction. We are about to open our first Intro Course Summer Cohort of 2021.

In This Course You Will Learn

• How to create emotional safety by using needs rather than blame and judgment
• How to help others experience being heard and feel heard yourself through empathy for others rather than other conversational responses
• How to create connection from conflict, instead of disconnection by using silent empathy and the NVC dance floor
• How to get clarity in your communication through using observations and feelings rather than evaluations and thoughts
• How to get your needs met through requests rather than demands
• How to find calm and compassion when you’re triggered by using WAIT and self-empathy

It’s the culmination of my 10+ years working in NVC and more importantly, I think you’re going to learn a ton from it. This is everything I wish I had learned in the beginning to get myself up and running in NVC. And now I’m sharing it with you…

I’m really excited for this cohort! We are just finishing up our first-ever cohort in this format, started back in March, and it’s been an awesome journey with some even better people. 

We’re going to open the course for enrollment Wednesday, but I wanted to get it on your radar and we’re finalizing which time of the week we’re going to hold the live learning session each week. I know I’ve asked this a couple of times now but I just want to make sure everyone gets a chance to put in your input.

🎙️ Doing It Differently

Two weeks ago on the podcast, I interviewed Janelle, a good friend, quality pickleball foe, and the Restorative Practice Specialist for the Florida Department of Children and Families.

First off I had a blast chatting with her. And second, I think it's a great episode to check out because we talk about approaching conflict differently than how we usually would. The result, an inspiring and touching but also amusing encounter Janelle had when having obscenities thrown at her at a stoplight.
