Man, that’s a mouthful!
But really, all I want to do is send this email to you for a chance to sign up before we notify everyone else. You recently filled out the interest form for our Intro Course at our site, TheBigbieMethod.com.
I have thoughts that I am sounding "salesy" with saying that, which I don't feel comfortable with, but don't know what else to say to sound more "authentic". I want to make sure you get a chance to sign up before we announce it to our email list tomorrow since we have 12 open slots.
If you’d like to sign up now you can do that here. And if you’d like to learn more or have questions feel free to keep reading to learn more.
First off this is our first ever course in partnership with FSU's RISE program. That alone I am very excited about. This partnership is a chance to partner with a world-class institution.
Since founding The Bigbie Method, our goal has been to scale this new "human technology." With this new partnership, we can do just that with access to greater resources, brilliant minds to help us, and expanded opportunities. It’s a giant leap forward in our mission to bring greater connection to the world.
And you can be a part of our Pilot Cohort with RISE
If you're wondering what you will learn in this course or if you're on the fence, this course is the culmination of my 10+ years working in NVC, and, more importantly, I think you’re going to learn a ton from it. This is everything I wish I had learned in the beginning to get myself up and running in NVC. And now we're sharing it with you…
In This Course You Will Learn
- How to create emotional safety by using needs rather than blame and judgment
- How to help others experience being heard and experience being heard yourself through empathy for others rather than other conversational responses
- How to create connection from conflict, instead of disconnection by using silent empathy and the NVC dance floor
- How to get clarity in your communication through using observations and feelings rather than evaluations and thoughts
- How to get your needs met through requests rather than demands
- How to find calm and compassion when you’re triggered by using WAIT and self-empathy
Each week, of the 8-week course, you'll have about an hour of self-paced pre-class materials and videos to go through and then you'll come together with the rest of your cohort for a live class with Logan, one of our facilitators, to review and practice what you've learned from that week.
The course will open Monday, March 17th and your first live class will be Tuesday, March 25th at 6 PM EST. Then you will have the live class weekly for 8 weeks at that time until the last live class on May 13th.
Here is the link again to make sure you get signed up before it sells out. Hope to see you in the course! Feel free to pass the information on to others as well.
Hope to see you in the course!
