This webinar will feature Amy Alvis, a school principal of Ghazvini Learning Center, an alternative public school in Tallahassee, Florida, serving some of the community’s most at-risk students. With over 25 years in education—including roles as an Exceptional Student Education teacher and school leader—Amy is a passionate advocate for Restorative Practices. She has presented at multiple conferences on her work helping students build empathy, accountability, and interpersonal skills through Nonviolent Communication (NVC). At GLC, she focuses daily on repairing and strengthening relationships to foster a more connected school community.
