Before I begin, I want to share something personal.

In 2010, when I was studying far from home, my father sent me a handwritten letter, the only one he ever wrote. It has stayed with me long after he passed, both as paper and as presence. That letter taught me what it means to write with sincerity. So when I write to you, I don’t think of these as newsletters, but as letters, written with the same honesty and care, sharing my reflections of astrology, life, and philosophy.

I hope you’re doing well. I want to welcome you to the new home for reading these letters. You’ll now be receiving them here instead of through Substack. As I mentioned in my previous post there, I’ve imported all the contacts from Substack.

I’ve been writing newsletters since 2019 and have had to move across few platforms over the years. This is the fourth one and I hope it will stay with me for a long time. It feels significant to make this transition at a time when Mercury is at its strongest from a solar perspective, just before it stations retrograde. Refinement often comes through challenges, and shifting platforms again feels like a fitting expression of that process.

That brings me to the moment we’re entering:

Mercury retrograde in Scorpio

Mercury in Scorpio indicates deep, often intense reflection that helps us see what lies beneath the surface. The retrograde motion amplifies these themes of revelation or understanding, offering one last opportunity to course-correct and release emotional residue before moving forward with renewed clarity.

With Mars also transiting Scorpio and preparing to conjoin Mercury on November 13, we have the strength to act and transform. This intensity, however, isn’t outward and it’s directed inward where the actual works begins and possibly also ends. This period is about internal transformation that eventually expresses itself outwardly, turning thoughts into words and words into action. This influence will shape the weeks ahead, lasting until the end of the first week of December.
