Need Acne Follow-Up Before School Starts?

We hope that you all are enjoying your summer! This is a reminder that now is a great time to come in for an acne follow-up or a chemical peel session before school begins again.

How do I know that I need a follow-up for my acne?

  • If you have not been seen in 2-3 months
  • If you are low on your topical/oral medications
  • If your current treatment plan is not reducing your acne breakouts
  • If you would like a chemical peel to reduce your acne breakouts

We offer in-office and virtual visits during the school year for our students!

What will we discuss at my acne appointment?

During our acne appointments, we do a thorough intake of your medication history, skincare products, nutrition, and more to assess your skin. Dr. Dintiman may recommend topical prescriptions, oral medications, chemical peels, or microneedling to address your skincare needs.

Interested in a chemical peel?

Chemical Peels remove the top layer of dead, unhealthy skin and allow for new skin cells to grow in. These peels can help unclog pores and reduce acne inflammation.

Chemical peels can help to treat:

  • Clogged Pores
  • Acne & Acne Scarring
  • Uneven Skin Texture
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Sun Damage

Most patients note little to no pain, and minimal stinging during chemical peel treatment. Consistent chemical peel sessions every 4-6 weeks may result in reduced breakouts and even skin texture.
