Reveal Radiant Skin with LASEMD Ultra
What is LASEMD Ultra?
LASEMD Ultra is a non-invasive, advanced skin resurfacing treatment designed to address a variety of skin concerns. LASEMD Ultra uses a combination of laser energy and microchanneling technology. The laser penetrates the skin’s surface, targeting pigmentation and stimulating collagen production. The microchanneling creates tiny channels that help to deliver active serums directly into the skin, enhancing the treatment’s effects and accelerating skin
healing.
What Conditions Does LASEMD Ultra Treat?
- Hyperpigmentation (e.g., age spots, sun spots, melasma)
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Skin texture irregularities
- Acne scars and other types of scarring
- Sun damage
- Uneven skin tone
What to Expect During and After Treatment:
Immediately After the Procedure:
- Redness and Swelling: You may notice some redness and mild swelling similar to a mild sunburn. This typically lasts for a few hours to a few days.
- Brown Speckles and Flaking: You may see some brown speckles or experience slight flaking for up to a week as the skin heals.
Post-Treatment Care:
- Avoid Sun Exposure: Stay out of direct sun for at least 2 weeks after your treatment to prevent pigmentation issues. Always wear sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) daily to protect the treated area and maintain results.
- Hydration: Keep your skin well-hydrated using a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer.
- Avoid Scrubbing or Picking: Do not pick or scrub any flaking skin to ensure proper healing and avoid scarring.
- Gentle Cleansing: Use a mild cleanser and avoid exfoliating products for the first few days.
Treatment Plan:
- For optimal results, 2-4 sessions are recommended, spaced about 4 weeks apart.
- The number of treatments required may vary based on your skin condition and desired outcome.
- Follow-up treatments can help maintain results and further improve skin texture and pigmentation.
Things to Avoid Before and After Treatment:
Before Treatment:
- Avoid sun exposure for at least 1-2 weeks prior to your treatment to minimize the risk of complications.
- Stop using retinoids or any strong exfoliants about 3-5 days before treatment, as they can make the skin more sensitive.
- No waxing or chemical peels in the treated area for at least 1-2 weeks before treatment.
After Treatment:
- Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 2 weeks.
- No hot showers, saunas, or vigorous exercise for 24-48 hours after treatment.
- Do not pick at peeling skin or apply harsh exfoliants.
