Venom Rising has released!
Hello there!
We're here in your inbox with the fabulous news that Venom Rising, Book 4 of the Sovereign Code, has released extra early! We're powering through this series. In part, because River and Echo's story is always surprising us, which makes writing fun. In part, because we each have a co-author we don't want to let down, so procarastination (darned social media...) isn't an option.
Venom Rising ended in ways we didn't see coming (and totally deviated from our outline), but that's one of the many beautiful parts of being a writer. It's fascinating to watch characters and a story gain a life of its own. There's all the excitement, challenges, surprises, and romance you've come to expect from River and Echo's story.
To top off the good times, we're actually meeting up this weekend, face-to-face! That involves Heidi flying almost 700kms, us holing up in an Air BnB where there are no distractions, and unleashing our creativity. We'll be finalizing Sting Wars, the epic finale in this series, AND planning our next series. It's virtual reality meets Hunger Games...but with magic. We're super excited to be diving deep and discovering what will blossom from this concept.
Happy reading,
Tamar and Heidi
VENOM RISING
A war for Immunity has been waged
A formula has been created. One that will ensure immunity for all. But it’s been stolen as a hidden enemy undermines every step to save the Vulnerables. Echo is doing everything she can to hunt the saboteur. River is about to discover he’s more connected to this than he ever thought possible.
As they both learn they can’t escape their roots, the people of the Dead Zone make it clear they’re no longer willing to be cast aside. Immunity should be granted to all, not just the selected few. An uprising is inevitable. And the wealthy inhabitants of the Green Zone are determined to end it before it begins.
Echo and River will have to choose between love and loyalty. Because the race to find the formula has begun. And the fate of humanity depends on their success.
Harvest Day, the first book in The Sovereign Code, has been released as an audiobook! The second book will be joining it very soon, along with the remainder of the series over the coming months.
We have a fabulous new narrator for this series, Elizabeth Godley, who's done an outstanding job! She is one seriously talented voice artist and we're super excited to be working with her.
Right now the book is available on a range of platforms including Audible, Google Play, Kobo and Nook.
