If you're a fan of historical fiction then this email is for you. Not only do I have one more free book giveaway to tell you about for May, but I also have another author update for you as well.
So, first things first -- free ebooks! There's an awesome collection of free historical fiction that is available until the end of the month. And it's not only romance titles (though there are a fair bit of them in there, too). There's a variety of genres under the historical fiction umbrella to choose from. Take a gander for yourself. One title in the collection that totally caught my eye was The Devil's Mountain. I mean, check out how cool this cover is:
And before you say something-- I know, I know. We're not supposed to judge books by their cover, but I mean, WOW! This looks great. As the cover and title might suggest, this story is a psychological horror. According to its description, it will "chill you to the bone." If that's not your cup of tea, that's understandable. Personally, I adore the horror genre. Not the blood and guts stuff; more so the stories that get under your skin and send shivers down your spine. That said, I'm really looking forward to reading this one.
Speaking of covers, it's now time for my author update. I'm very excited to share with you the cover art for Violet Reverie. I had the chance to work with an amazing artist named Luisa Galstyan who took my initial concept and breathed life into it. Check it out!

Now, you might thinking: Um, Talbot. THIS looks a lot like a chilling, psychological horror story, not a romance... Fear not. While the main character Nathan does deal with some unsettling visions, I promise you that this story is a sweet and tender romance at its core. I just like my characters to go through a teensy bit of psychological turmoil before being saved by true love.
Anyway, it's so exciting to be able to finally share this cover with you! As I mentioned before, the book's release date on Amazon is scheduled for next month, specifically June 20th.
Sometime in the coming weeks before the launch, I'd like to give you an exclusive preview into the story and share the first couple chapters with you! So be on the lookout for my future newsletters~
