Extra Dance Help offered for Six Choreo
Jan 09, 2025 3:11 pm
Hello!
As we get closer to our show weekend, we all must do everything we can to make this show the best that it can be! Although we are making great progress in rehearsals, we recognize that those without dance experience may have trouble keeping up. We are here to help you! Our goal is to provide all the resources we can to let TADA students grow and succeed.
Erika Lynne Stoup, one of TADA's choreographers (and one of our Anne Boleyn's) has offered to do a dance workshop that will review the basic steps/skills we are using in this show. She will work on reviewing the choreography, helping to build confidence while dancing and give students the chance to explore their character further. Especially in the fast-paced environment of dance rehearsals, it's easy to forget that you are playing a character. In this workshop we hope to build relationships with our own individual characters as well as the rest of our cast.
This workshop is free and is open to the entire cast.
This Sunday January 12th before rehearsal (12:00-1:00 pm) and after rehearsal (4:00-5:00 pm). If the girls feel that this was beneficial to them, we can add more of these to boost their skills.
ALSO - HEADSHOTS for our playbill will be this Sunday at beginning of rehearsal and Monday at beginning of rehearsal. If you'd like to just use your headshot from this fall that is fine - just let us know!
Sincerely,
Miss Michelle & Erika Lynne
