We wanted to take a moment to share a wonderful scholarship opportunity from the Suffolk Foundation that may benefit many of our talented students. The Suffolk Foundation is offering college scholarships to Seniors graduating from Suffolk Schools.

Each year, the Suffolk Foundation offers a variety of scholarships for students living or attending school in Suffolk, VA, who plan to attend college or university in the upcoming academic year. This includes students who participate in programs outside of the public school system, like TADA!

Some of these scholarships are specifically geared toward the arts — and few students apply for these arts-related scholarships, so we highly encourage all eligible students to apply! One application makes you eligible for all available scholarships — including both arts-focused and general scholarships. For example, if you are a great singer or performer but plan to study healthcare or another field, you may still qualify for multiple awards!

✅ What You’ll Need to Apply:

• Your most recent official transcript (dated after February 10, 2025)
• Two letters of recommendation — you’ll need to provide email addresses for those writing them
• A personal essay (topics provided on the application)
• If applying for need-based scholarships, a copy of your FAFSA Submission Summary
