November homeschool recommendations coming your way!

The weekend is here, so I'll keep things brief today. 😅
Today I want to share a few quick resources to consider as you finalize your November homeschool plans. These include the November holidays and some fall-specific ideas.
Also, here’s your reminder that some links are geared toward younger kids, some toward older students, and some may work best for those in between. Regardless of where your kiddos are, you’ll find something here to add to your learning lineup.
Before we jump into the November inspiration, you may have noticed I experimented with Substack over the last six months. I'm back with you here and excited to bring you even better content in the weeks ahead! And now, on to the homeschool recs! 💁♀️
1. Nature Study Ideas 🍂 - There’s a variety of fall nature study help in this article, including migration mapping and bird feeders.
2. Fall Art Ideas 🎨 - The colors of fall also serve as creative inspiration. Take advantage of that inspiration with this list of our favorite fall art projects. These projects range from chalk pastel leaves to woven pumpkin paintings to pressed leaves, so there’s something for everyone here.
3. Our favorite Thanksgiving resources 🦃 - This is a round-up of our favorites for learning about Thanksgiving. It features book recommendations, unit study resources, art ideas, and more!
4. Notebooking Pages 🗒️ - You can find free notebooking pages for Veterans Day and Thanksgiving at Notebooking Pages. These are great if you're learning about these American holidays and want an easy way to document your experiences. ** This is a referral link**
5. Thanksgiving Rocks 🪨 - And finally, if you're looking for some not-so-academic Thanksgiving inspiration, this painted rock activity is the way to go. Head over toMasterpiece Society for the free tutorial! Worth noting, you can do this near Thanksgiving or a little at a time starting at the beginning of November. 🙂
That's all for now! I'll be back next week with more homeschool ideas, but these are great to keep in mind while you’re preparing for all things November.
