Still thinking about homeschool science options? 😅 Don't miss these!

imageHey there,

Now that July is here, chances are you’re in full-blown homeschool planning mode for the school year. If you haven’t quite nailed down your plans for science, I want to share some great options from College Prep Science (spoiler alert, they’re not just for high school… they have classes for 4th-12 grades!).

(Heads up, this is a sponsored email. That said, we’ve used several College Prep Science Courses through the years and had great experiences with them. 🙂)

There are lots of live classes to choose from, but my teen has always preferred the self-paced science classes because of the scheduling flexibility they offer. With that said, here are a few self-paced options worth noting.

Life Prep classes for 8-12th Grades - These 2-semester classes are great for students who don’t plan to attend college *or* plan to attend but probably won’t be science majors. In other words, they need to learn science, but not to the degree of a future science major. Check our Life Prep Biology review to learn more about these!

½ Semester classes for 7-12th Grades - These classes are great for digging deeper than the life prep courses. Earth & Space Science, Embryology/Endocrinology, Biochemistry/Microbiology, and Exercise & Sports Physiology are all available courses through this option. There’s even a half-semester Marine Science for 6-12th grades.

Young Scientist courses for 4-7th Grades - Older elementary and middle schoolers don’t have to be left out. I especially love these to help students adjust to the independent learning that often comes with a transition to middle school.

Virtual Science Labs - These virtual labs are perfect for tackling labs at home. You can read our full review to learn more, but the short version is that they’re great for providing lab experiences without tons of supplies, mess, or setup time. Better yet, they’re available for 7-12th grades and have three lab options: Biology/Anatomy & Physiology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Now that you’ve had an overview of our favorite self-paced science courses, head to College Prep Science to learn more or register for classes. While you’re there, be sure to get connected with their super helpful science freebies

That’s all for today. As always, I’m happy to answer any questions you may have about these courses. Just hit reply and let me know how I can help!

Until next week,

Emily
