Hope you're doing safe!

The days so far haven't been safe for us.

But life has its own course & LORD DIRECTS THE WAY.

It has been quite long since I wrote to you last.

I've been trying hard to make our Music accessible for all.

But assimilating all that is good requires a lot of effort for the want of authentic sources.

To quote Pandit Suresh Talwalkar ji- the Tabla legend:

"THEKA is the first composition of a TAAL"

This definition is very insightful and so I began a quest to accumulate enough scouring through numerous sources.

I'm progressing well as the feedback from my friends suggest!

Presenting to you:

'TAALKOSH' - an online directory of the THEKAS

along with their Styles, Divisions, Matras, Tali-Khali, Reference etc.

This is a work in progress and I humbly request you to check them out; suggest/insist on corrections, supply me with your references as well.

I will try to include the TALAS as much as humanly possible.
