Upcoming Courses
In August I’ll be teaching four brand new remote, open enrollment courses, with modules covering Bayesian mixture modeling, survival modeling, pairwise comparison modeling, and ordinal modeling, https://www.eventzilla.net/e/advanced-bayesian-modeling-in-stan-2138661763.
Sharing the course page with friends and colleagues is greatly appreciated. Additionally if you know of any venues that might appreciate a short post about the course then don’t hesitate to let me know.
Upcoming Workshop
On Wed May 14th I'll be hosting a one-day, interactive workshop on Bayesian modeling with an emphasis on epidemiology for the Learn Bayes Methods Week at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden, https://learnbayes.se/events/generative-modeling/. The workshop is free to attend but on-site only, see https://learnbayes.se/information/information/ for details.
On your way to Sweden I'll be dropping by Imperial College London to give a talk on narratively generative modeling, https://www.imperial.ac.uk/events/193147/ai-cutting-edge-overviews-and-tutorial-series-with-dr-michael-betancourt/. In person attendance is limited to the Imperial community but there will be a livestream that anyone can watch, live or afterwards, with a free registration.
Consulting and Training
Are you, or is someone you know, struggling to develop, implement, or scale a Bayesian analysis compatible with your domain expertise? If so then I can help.
I can be reached at inquiries@symplectomorphic.com for any questions about potential consulting engagements and training courses.
Probabilistic Modeling Discord
I have a Discord server dedicated to discussion about (narratively) generatively modeling of all kinds, https://discord.gg/7SZCxGgC. Come join the conversation!
