Hi !

I hope it's not too early to wish you all a Happy New Year as we bid farewell to 2020 and welcome 2021 next week.

2020 has definitely been a whirlwind of a year, with a lot of unexpected things happening (no thanks to Corona). But this year has also given us opportunities to really focus on the things that we have and appreciate the people in our lives, perhaps more than ever.

I'm sure you went through a lot of different challenges this year - be it in your personal, professional, or social life. You may have had friends or family who were sick, or you may have been separated (unwillingly) from your loved ones. Your studies or work may have been disrupted or affected negatively by the pandemic (to all would-be graduates, I'm sorry that your final moments at university were not as fun as you may have hoped!).

But, whatever it is - you are here now. You made it through 2020. Despite all the odds and obstacles that stood in your way - you have made it through. And that is an accomplishment to be proud of.

What do you want to get out of 2021?

Let's take this last few days of 2020 to really think about what you want to accomplish in the next year. And, instead of writing down vague new year's resolutions (I want to lose weight or I want to save more money), be more specific in terms of what you want to achieve and accomplish (I want to save RM10k or I want to lose 5kg).

I recently posted a 'My 21 for 2021 list' on the blog, where I shared 21 goals or things that I want to accomplish and focus on for 2021. This includes everything from my personal life (moving houses) to professional life (getting a raise) and social life (spend more time with friends).

So, what about you?

What would be on your 21 for 2021 list? What are some specific goals or aims that you have for the next year? What help or support would you need to help you achieve those aims? What challenges do you foresee that would hamper your progress?

Do share them with me by replying to this email, I would love to hear from you. This way, I can also try to cater my future newsletters on topics that would hopefully be beneficial for you in terms of achieving your goals.

I really look forward to hearing from you about all the amazing things you plan to do next year, and, who knows, this time next year, we might be celebrating all these accomplishments together!

Until I see you again in the new year - Happy New Year, Happy Holidays, stay awesome & take care!

Love,

Nazu xx
