...pre-summer going?

I know I should be planning pool-time and BIG THINGS, but I'm not there this year!

Things have been busy here. I spent a week with one of my BFFs, helping her after her hip replacement surgery. One of the best things about the experience (other than giggling and watching home reno and travel shows together in her bedroom!) was seeing how fast she's recuperating. She made progress every day, and continues to. It's awesome to see how well things can work at times. It was a good reminder, and thought for me. And she has a wonderful attitude, something I admire.

It was also fun cooking for her and her hubs and...sneaking in vegeys. Like when I told her: "I'm not going to tell you this, but I AM putting celery in your spaghetti sauce!" LOL! (But I did dice them small, so I couldn't even find them!) I really wanted to do everything I could to give her good nutrition so she'd heal faster.

And her? She gave me ice-cream, twice. Love how things work out!

Now I'm watching a friend's kitties--she watched mine last week, and took SUCH good care of them. We send each other update photos. I love how one I snapped for her turned out -- all Halloween-y, wouldn't you say? Kitty's just yawning, but she looks so fierce (cause of the unexpected fuzz factor), that I had to share!

Other than that, I'm busy writing, doing all things COVERS, and writing. Plotting new series too.

HAH! :)

ANOTHER COVER REVEAL!

The cover for REAL DEEP, the cover I showed you last week, is now uploaded to all retailers! If you already have Real Deep, you'll be able to update the book on your Kindle and get the new cover, and I'm sure the other retailers have similar options! I love this new picture of Dare Logan, Delta North Special Ops soldier come home (and back to his first real love), and hope you do, too.

However, I've also got the cover for Book 5 - REAL MIRACLE - and I'd love to know what you think of it, too!

This book is very close to my heart. Eli had to leave his fiancé, without a word, on Christmas Eve, four years ago. Now, he's going off the grid, completely. But he's got to visit the one place that's still big in his heart, and that's the house he and Tish were going to buy--before he takes off forever.

And guess what happens....

As to the cover, what do you think? Personally, this is pretty much how I picture Eli. Serious, with a softness in his face that time has etched into it. Because he knows loss, and still cares about the woman he loves, though he's sure he'll never see her again. But I'm getting ahead of myself...and giving you spoilers? Here's the cover.
