I'm participating in an anthology with eight of my closest writer friends

Monday-Friday from 7:45 to 9:00 a.m., I meet online with a dozen writer friends via Zoom. We write for that hour and fifteen minutes (imagine parallel play) and then we come together and talk about our progress that morning. (We also talk about family, travel, life...everything!) We started this practice during the pandemic, and we decided to keep it going. These writers have become wonderful friends.
Six or eight months ago, someone in the group suggested we all participate in an anthology together. This sounded like a terrific idea, so we looked for a great anthology that would work for all/most of us.
Since we all love a friends to lovers/enemies to lovers story, we joined the Craving My Roommate anthology. For the past several months, nine of us have met (also via Zoom) as a group we call the Craving Cohort to discuss our work. My story is Sharing a Bed with Someone Like Him. In it, Rachel and Matt accidentally get stuck—overnight—in a 1960s bomb shelter. And there's only ONE bed.
I've modeled the bomb shelter after the secret government fallout shelter at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. It was intended for members of Congress and their families in the event of a nuclear attack. (I've toured the Greenbrier Resort fallout shelter and so can you.)
