Kristel and I wanted to share this with you personally — late last night (June 26), Jewels delivered a beautiful new colt! We were sure she'd have another filly (the nail test fooled us!), so this little guy was a surprise. We are over the moon about it, and we want you to help us name this little guy!

Every time Jewels foals, we ask readers to help us choose a name. Kristel needs a fancy APHA name and then a simple barn name. Here are some of the wonderful names you've chosen in past years:

Jewels Taffy Kandy (Taffy)
Royale Dakota Moon (Kody)
Regal Knight Moon (Knightly)
Jewels Moonlit Treasure (Trissy)

This colt is a palomino splash with a big blaze, a little white “splash,” and one white stocking. If you want to suggest a name, you can follow this link or hit the "Name the Colt" tab.

A couple of things to remember when you submit your name: "Moon" must be the last part of the name. Two front names need to be included. And even Goldtown fans will want to submit, as audiobooks make a fantastic "thank you."
