Hi, Everyone!

First, some exciting knitting news, and then a bit of updated information about classes coming up.

Knitting news. The knitting news? We're getting ready for the next mystery shawl road trip! We're heading to Maryland this year (where co-designer Valerie is from). The actual "trip" (first clue) will begin on April 17, in celebration of Local Yarn Shop Day. Since we still can't have an event, we're going to pre-sell kits. The shawl is much different this year (and smaller!). It's a bit like a triangle with a scarf on it, and very wearable. Just as we did last year, we'll have a choice of clues at each leg of our journey, so that you can choose your own knitting adventure!

Order a Maryland Road-Trip Yarn Kit

Order by March 1 to guarantee that you'll have your kit by April 17, when the clues begin! (You're welcome to order later; I just can't guarantee delivery.) The yarns will be 100 percent merino fingering weight, and I think you'll agree that Baah's colors are stunning! Valerie and I had fun choosing the perfect coordinating colors and then naming the kits for places in Maryland.

You can get the pattern on Ravelry directly (or call me if you're not on Ravelry). If you add both Maryland Road Trip and my other new pattern, I Want to be Warm, to your cart, you'll get the second pattern at no cost! This button will get you started at Maryland Road Trip, but don't forget to look for I Want to be Warm as well! Don't press "buy now." Press "add to cart." Maryland Road Trip is $3.98 now, but will go up incrementally as the clues are released, beginning on April 17.

Newsletter updates. There have been a few updates to the newsletter (an addition of a class for the Brooklyn Tweed scarf and a move to a new day for the hexies class). I've also gotten in cat backing fabric for the block of the month. If you'd like to join in for that, the class is not showing as available, but it definitely is. I simply have to add you manually. Just give me a call this week at 814-238-4151, or text me at 856-759-3420, and I'll take care of it.

I hope that if you live away from central PA, you'll use this opportunity with Zoom to "visit" again, and join in on the fun!
