Hello, everyone!

Happy Monday! Here's the latest edition of SYAO Creativity. Let's see what's going on in our creative world this week! It's a lot, so sit back and read!!!

STITCH (What I've been working on)

As those of you who follow me on social media know, I sewed 8 blocks wrong for the block of the month. They're repaired now, and I'm ready to put the quilt together. Whew! I'm excited about the next step. It's getting closer! What will next year's block of the month be? Keep reading to the end of this email!

Speaking of social media, if you want to support me (or any other business), all you need to do on social media is hit the like button. That sends our posts to more people. You don't have to buy or comment--just liking helps a lot!! Be sure to follow both Stitch Your Art Out and Really Clear Designs. For Instagram: Stitch Your Art Out and Really Clear Designs.

YOUR (What you've been working on)

Mary stopped by to show me a quilt that she finished back in 2017 after taking a New York Beauty quilt class! I was happy to wait to see it, Mary. Beautiful work!

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

I was in Corning, NY, this week. I love this glass by artist Wes Hunting! The colors are stunning, and the designs gorgeous.

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

Speaking of color, Tula Pink is coming out with her own version of Oliso Irons! They'll arrive in February, but I'm going to do a Small Business Saturday special for them. If you preorder them by Saturday, November 25, you'll get special pricing. The large iron will be $219.99 instead of $239.99, and the mini will be $84.99 instead of $99.99. This edition of these irons is available only in quilt shops.

AND ...

For the large iron, I'll throw in a spool of pink Aurifil thread at no charge.

For the mini iron, I'll throw in a Creative Grids Mini Cutting Mat at no charge. You can order on the website here, or give me a call if you prefer!

The large iron looks like this:

The mini looks like this (it's corded, but the picture doesn't show that), and it also comes with a silicone pad. It's a little bigger than you would normally think of as "mini."

Both irons have auto-shutoff for extra safety!

Pre-order your Tula Pink Oliso Iron here!

AND stay tuned.

I'll be doing a Tula block of the month next year! (I still have to design it over the next couple of months!) Kits will be limited for this one, because some of the fabric in it is no longer available. Keep your eye out for the newsletter at the end of December; it'll have all the details!

Finally, be sure to sign up for the appliqué class that starts this Thursday at 3:00. Mary Beth's quilt for this class was exhibited at the Mancuso quilt show in September. What an honor! We're lucky to have such an expert teacher. Knock a few hours off work, and take advantage of this special opportunity! Extra thanks to Barb Dann for this photo, since I couldn't be at the show. (Barb also did the quilting on this project.) We'll start with just one of these nutcrackers in the class. That'll keep you busy for a while!

As always, make an appointment to shop or browse, or just to show off your stuff! I can't wait to see you!
