My Really Clear Year begins this Thursday. This particular class is on Zoom. Take your pick of a morning or evening section! We'll start with a helix hat. I'm super excited about it!

STITCH (What I've been working on)

Meanwhile, I'm going full steam ahead on this year's block of the month! I'm still in the middle of trimming the squares, and then I have to sew the four blocks together, but you get the idea.

I'm delighted with how the first block looks in even its rough form:

YOUR (What you've been working on)

Karen made my Tangled Pumpkin Vines hat. I love it in pinks!! No need to use a pattern's cover colors, ever. You do you! She says that it was a big hit at Christmas. That made me happy.

ART (Inspired by art or nature)

April Scimio is a local artist who does the most beautiful abstract landscapes. (She also enjoys knitting--bonus.) Here's one she did this month. I love it.

OUT (What's out on the shelves in the shop)

April's painting instantly reminded me of this stunning color of Ella Rae Marmel. It's called "Golden Garnet." You could use it as one of the colors for the Serenity Shawl class, coming up on Sunday! There's only one opening, and we won't be adding more people for this one, so grab it if you're interested. This class will be held in the shop.
